Project overview
To celebrate the launch of A Very Brady Renovation—HGTV’s highly anticipated TV miniseries reuniting the original Brady Bunch cast—HGTV sought to create an engaging, dynamic microsite that would capture the nostalgia of the iconic show while showcasing the modern renovation project. The site served as a central hub for fans to explore exclusive behind-the-scenes content, tune into premiere details, and connect with the show’s vibrant promotional campaign.
The Brief
Design and develop a microsite that could seamlessly bring together multiple stakeholders, showcase the show’s creative assets, and deliver an accessible and enjoyable user experience. The platform needed to be visually aligned with HGTV’s national campaign while remaining flexible enough to incorporate feedback from internal teams, external partners, and network clients—all on a tight launch schedule.
My Approach
Working closely across departments and platforms, I led the creation of a front-end experience that balanced visual storytelling with intuitive usability. I collaborated with designers, content strategists, and engineers to streamline the design process, ensuring the microsite met both creative and technical goals. Throughout development, I conducted functionality testing to ensure ADA accessibility compliance, optimized loading performance, and maintained brand consistency across every touchpoint.
The Results
The microsite successfully launched in tandem with the series premiere, generating strong audience engagement and serving as the digital centerpiece of HGTV’s marketing rollout. The project demonstrated the power of collaborative design under multi-stakeholder conditions—delivering a user-friendly, on-brand digital experience that amplified the excitement surrounding A Very Brady Renovation.
